Our 2010 vision for evangelism is: “GO! – Create Opportunities”
Following our Lord’s commission, our goal is to GO and make disciples… (Mt 28:19) GO – and reach out to the neighboring communities. We intend to launch new evangelistic Bible studies in the area. How do we accomplish it? At the beginning of the year pastor Brad explained the God-given strategy for Bridgeview:
Preparation stage:
- focus on prayer all year long
- get trained as a minister
- be filled with the Holy Spirit
Purpose:
- plant 3 evangelistic Bible studies within 25 mile radius from the church
- commission 6 certified ministers to lead and disciple those groups for one year
Participation:
- canvas target areas prior to plant
- join one of the Bible study groups for one year
- express your gifts in that group
