Here at Bridgeview we are starting a Counseling Ministry. This counseling ministry is for the brokenhearted, usually for those within the body here at Bridgeview. There are times in all of our lives when we feel stuck, lost and confused. We are in need of direction and encouragement. Who do you turn to? Who do you go to? The answer should be first the Lord, but sometimes we just don’t hear His voice and His direction. He just doesn’t seem to be enough in your time of need. Often at these times we feel alone, helpless and hopeless.
The passion and desire for the Counseling Ministry is that God will use it to bring the power of the Holy Spirit into your life so that you can be transformed and renewed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. The Lord is the one who will deliver you from any hurt no matter how great it is. This Ministry is available to restore you gently and help carry your burdens until you are strong enough to carry your own load.
The hard circumstances in your past cannot be changed. Even your current struggles may stay the same but what can change is your outlook on them. If you are ready to dive deeper into the Word of God and willing to allow God to change you then you are ready for the counseling you will receive. This counseling is built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. We will point you to Jesus because He is your answer.
